Jay Productions and Events, founded in 2008 and based out of Padstow NSW, are lighting, vision, sound, staging, and operations specialists, covering AV for the corporate market, activations, and special events. With unique tech and looks at the forefront of their offering to their clients, Jay Productions were finding themselves serving up ever more complex media to a bigger variety of LED panels and fixtures. Putting out the feelers on which media server would best service their needs, Green Hippo’s Hippotizer Karst+ was their peer’s server of choice, and Jay Productions have made two their own.

Green Hippo maps Vector Lights on the Auckland Harbour Bridge

Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour has been transformed by a unique, decade-long artistic project, ‘Vector Lights on the Auckland Harbour Bridge’. Powered by a mix of solar, battery, and peer-to-peer systems, over 90,000 mappable LED pixels and other fixtures provide a vast, animated canvas for traditional Maori designs, and special celebrations. Green Hippo Karst media servers supplied by Lexair were engaged by Mandylights, who designed, installed and programmed the Vector Lights project on the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

WIESS Energy Hall is the Most Comprehensive Energy Exhibit in the World - Powered by Green Hippo

Energy City is one of the highlight installations in the new Wiess Energy Hall, the most comprehensive energy exhibit in the world. “Energy City,” a 2,500-square-foot 3D landscape designed and fabricated by PBE, represents Houston, the surrounding Gulf coastal waters, and the terrain of southeast and central Texas. This vibrant 1/150th-scale “white model” will use bleeding-edge projection mapping technology to bring to life the energy value chain with dynamic animation as the entire tableau cycles from day to night.

Enlisting Green Hippo to move over 128 megapixels of content in a model that is over 13 million vertices wasn’t the only thing RabCup would need the media server manufacturer for. They also tapped Cory Froke, SuperTech at Green Hippo, to join the endeavor.

Carols by Candlelight another huge success for Colourblind with Green Hippo

Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight is the largest Carols event in Australia. Broadcast live from Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Channel Nine, the event has been running since 1937 making this year it's 80th anniversary.

Lynden Gare and his team from Colourblind have been involved in the event for around 18 years, and this year they ran 2 Green Hippo Hippotizer Karst's to control the media content.
